Synopsis

A young woman nearly drives into a giant figure on a desert road. Her father's attempt to document the discovery leads to a search through the dunes, where a surviving prehistoric man lives in a cave. A rescue mission becomes more complicated when the lonely giant develops an attachment to his unexpected visitor.

Arch Hall Sr. directed under a pseudonym and built the film around his son, Arch Hall Jr., whose musical numbers interrupt the desert adventure. Richard Kiel plays the imposing title character. The film later gained a cult audience through television screenings and comic reassessments.
