Synopsis
A recent graduate hopes to marry his sweetheart despite his fire-chief uncle's hostility to marriage. Discovering the woman's interest in money seems to confirm the older man's warning. A different attachment forces him to reconsider both the disappointment and the lesson drawn from it.
