Synopsis

A newly married man discovers that household life can generate its own hazards. Bringing home a live turkey on a streetcar, taking the family for a drive and dealing with a sleepwalking mother-in-law each produce a new disaster. His attempt to be a competent husband becomes a sequence of increasingly elaborate misunderstandings.

Cast

Behind the scenes

Harold Lloyd's feature is arranged around three comic episodes rather than a single pursuit of romance or success. The married protagonist also gives the film a different starting point from many of his better-known stories.
