Synopsis
A young man's demand for justice after a friend's death places him in conflict with a powerful aristocrat. Fleeing arrest, he joins travelling actors and discovers a talent for performance and rhetoric. As France approaches revolution, those abilities and his growing skill with a sword become tools for confronting the man who first drove him into hiding.
