Synopsis

A bandit leader takes back an Andean village from a ruthless strongman, initially expecting to use it for his own advantage. His encounter with a priest and a revered shrine challenges that confidence. Fairbanks's adventurous outlaw is drawn into a struggle in which physical daring alone cannot settle the questions of belief, loyalty and responsibility.

Cast

Behind the scenes

The American production sets its adventure in Argentina and pairs Douglas Fairbanks with Lupe Vélez. Its religious story and darker central character give it a different tone from many of Fairbanks's more carefree costume films.
