Synopsis
An architect withdraws into the coastal home he designed for the woman who died before their wedding. A succession of disturbing losses makes him fear that catastrophe will follow whatever he touches. A new acquaintance begins to suspect that the pattern has a human explanation, and that sympathy alone will not keep him safe.
