Synopsis
A cowboy watches the open range give way to settlers preparing for an Oklahoma land rush. The prospect of a home and a new relationship draws him into the competition, but rivals threaten to keep him from reaching his claim. Personal hopes unfold against the end of the wandering cattleman's way of life.

The story uses the Cherokee Strip land rush of 1893 as its historical setting. William S. Hart's final feature turns that mass race for land into a farewell to his Western screen persona. A 1939 reissue added a spoken introduction in which the retired star addressed the audience.
