Synopsis

A wife tries to improve her husband's tastes while overlooking his wish for a less regulated life. His attraction to a shop assistant ends the marriage, prompting the former wife to reinvent her appearance and habits. When the three meet again at a resort, the promises of the new marriage begin to resemble the frustrations of the old one.
